ITINERARY

Itinerary in Brief

Day1:

Arrive Belgrade Airport where you will be met and transferred (about two hours drive) to Sumarice, 150 km south of Belgrade. Dinner and night at a hotel.

Day2:

Breakfast and transfer (about 15 km – 30 minute drive) to the village Bare. Meeting the horses and leisure rides around the village. Lunch, dinner and night at the farm’s guest houses.

Day3:

Breakfast and set of riding towards the village Vracevsnica, the route taking you through the villages, open fields and forests. Picnic lunch and afternoon visit to Vracevsnica monastery. Night at Vracevsnica.

Day4:

Breakfast and ride up the mountains through the forest towards the mountain lodge at Mount Rudnik (1000 m. altitude). Picnic lunch. Dinner and night at the Lodge.

Day5:

After breakfast at the lodge head southwest across mountain ridges and pastures towards the village Vrbava where we stop for lunch. After lunch break, ride towards the mountain of Jesevac (900 m. altitude) where the night will be spent under the tents. Dinner around campfire.

Day6:

After breakfast ride down following mountain paths towards the village of Borac. Visit the Borac Church (14th century) and lunch at etno-guest house. Optional hike to peaks of Borac or bathing in Borac river. Dinner and night at the guest house.

Day7:

Ride out of the village after breakfast and past small farms through a patchwork of meadows and forest towards the village Bare for lunch. The afternoon to relax and explore the area. Transfer (30 minutes ride) by minibus to a hotel in the city of Kragujevac for dinner and night.

Day8:

Brakfast and transfer (about two hours drive) to Belgrade airport in time for your flight home.
